Frequently asked

Both micro needling and plasma have similar benefits, however choosing which procedure is best for you depends on a variety of things. Plasma is a non-surgical blepharoplasty procedure that tightens your skin, and is used more for skin that has more defined rhytids (wrinkles). These wrinkles are more “set” into the skin, and are visible without facial expression. Micro needling is more recommended for acne scars, skin tightening, sun damage, hyperpigmentation and leaves the skin looking more radiant and youthful. However, it is recommended you do both treatments, just 6 weeks apart from each other.

Since both procedures are triggering and restoring your body’s own production of collagen, the effects of micro needling and plasma can last clients years. It is proven to last longer than Botox.

Yes, usually you will see results immediately for Plasma Skin Tightening. As for micro needling, you will experience redness for a day, then you will notice your results. You will notice more effective results as the area starts to heal more and more everyday. This is because the area is now producing its collagen and elastin.

Yes, both plasma skin tightening and micro needling are both proven safe. It is the alternative to undergoing invasive surgeries.

For plasma skin tightening, only two treatments are required in a year. They are done six months apart. After your second session, it is required you wait one year until your third session. However, in between those 6 months, you can do microneedling sessions six weeks apart from each other to get better results.

As for microneedling, you can do up to 6-8 sessions a year, all six weeks apart from each other.

Plasma skin tightening has been proven as a safe and effective treatment, due to it not being an invasive treatment. Clients will still experience their minor side effects up to 14 days. Clients usually only experience side effects for 7 to 10 days, but everyone’s healing process is different. To have a faster healing time, make sure to apply your ointment twice daily.

For micro needling, you can wear make up the next day. With plasma, you can wear make up but NOT on the treated area. Plasma will cause carbon crusts on the skin, and should be avoided to have a proper healing process. They cannot be scraped, scratched or rubbed off. Only ointment should be applied on the treated area.
